The Lake Monticello Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad Auxiliary is a group of caring, big-hearted community members from Fluvanna and surrounding counties who proudly stand behind our local firefighters and EMTs. We’re the helping hands and smiling faces working behind the scenes — organizing fundraisers and bingo, hosting community events, and showing up with coffee, snacks, and encouragement when our crews are out on long calls.

Every bake sale, raffle, dinner and bingo we host helps provide much-needed equipment, training, and comfort for the people who keep our community safe. But it’s more than just fundraising — it’s about being part of something meaningful. It’s about neighbors helping neighbors, sharing laughter at events, supporting one another, and knowing that even small acts of kindness make a big difference.

The Lake Monticello Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad will be hosting its 47th Annual Benefit Golf Tournament to be held Saturday, June 20, 2026 at the Lake Monticello Golf Course. This benefit is one of our key fundraisers! The $110 entrance fee includes green fees with a dual cart, breakfast sandwich/coffee and buffet lunch following play at the Bunker Bistro. Tickets for Mulligans, 50/50 and Raffle Prizes will be available.
